FAQ
Know the boundary before buying.
Does the bundle make us a Code signatory?
No. Only the organisation can decide whether and how to sign, appoint an authorised representative, complete the current official form and follow the official submission procedure.
Does adherence prove AI Act compliance?
No. The European Commission assessed the Code as an adequate tool, but adherence is not by itself conclusive evidence of compliance.
What happens after 27 July 2026?
Later signing remains possible. The 27 July, 18:00 CEST deadline is specifically for inclusion in the initial public list of signatories.
Does this implement machine-readable marking?
No. It provides operational planning, visible UI source, evidence and review tools. Technical marking and detection require a separate engineering and conformity workstream.
What licence is included?
One purchasing individual or legal organisation may use the operations files internally and deploy the component source on up to five production domains or applications. Source resale or redistribution is not permitted.
